The following added-value
services are also available:
Protective Taping
We can apply low-tack protective
tape to door and window profile prior to
despatch at a single competitive
rate. We use standard co-extruded black/white tape,
with black/black available as an option. The majority
of taping is done by machine in-line, meaning that
there is no time penalty even when taping volume
orders.
Stripping
We can strip previously coated metal,
allowing our customers to reclaim sections previously
thought scrap, and at a competitive cost. Stripping is
preferred to overcoating as stripped metal qualifies for
the same guarantee as would mill finish metal; up to 30
years. We can strip back to chromate or to bare metal as
required. All stripping is carried out by experienced
operatives and even delicate rolled polyamide - though not
polythermide - section can be processed.
Strip anodising
We are also able to strip anodised
finish from sections. Please
contact us for further
information.
Touch-up
We can supply customers with aerosol- or
brush-on touch-up paint in most colours and finishes,
including metallics. We can also supply containers of etch
primer where needed.
Thermal break
We can provide ‘mill and fill’
thermal break of section (subject to a minimum order value
of £500). Please
